Alexandra turned 3 months old on September 6. It is amazing how much she has changed in just one month. She is now a little chatter box, especially when she is laying in her crib by herself- it sounds like all kinds of things are going on in there! She loves her hands and she is either trying to stick her whole fist, or sometimes both fists in her mouth, or she is clasping her hands together like she is praying. She definitely has two personalities. Most of the time, she is very mellow. She smiles and occasionally giggles, but she doesn't just show that to everybody- you have to catch her at the right moment to get her to smile- four in the morning seems to be one of her preferred times! But when she gets mad- boy does she get mad. She actually screams and yells- not just cries. Her sweet little face turns red and angry and then watch out!
She also loves to kick her legs and throw them from side to side. It seems that she will be able to roll over any day now- we are very close. She learned how to make her little mobile on the bouncy seat play music once it stops. And as we all do, in the short time she has been around, she has developed some vices, first she LOVES her pacifier and she also really loves... TV- yes, we know, we don't want a little couch potato, but when that angry side comes out, a quick glance at a program or game seems to do the trick.
In August, we went down to San Diego to spend a few weeks with Daddy before he deploys to Iraq in September and we had a great time. Alexandra loves the pool and water, so she had a great time swimming with Mommy and Daddy. Here are some pictures.
